ਸਰ ਪਾ ਸ਼ੁਦਹ ਪਾ ਸਰ ਸ਼ੁਦਹ ਦਰ ਰਾਹ-ਏ-ਮੁਹੱਬਤ।
ਗੋਏਮ ਵ ਲੇਕਨ ਸਰ ਓ ਪਾ ਰਾ ਨ ਸ਼ਨਾਸੇਮ।।
Sar pâ shudeh pâ sar shudeh dar râh-e-mohabbat,
Goyem va lekin sar-o-pâ râ na shnâsem.
ਅਰਥ:
Meaning:
ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਉਤੇ ਸਿਰ ਪੈਰ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਰ ਸਿਰ ਬਣ ਗਏ,
ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਹਾਂ, ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਪੈਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹਿਚਾਣਦੇ ।
On a pilgrimage of love, the feet and the head have interchanged,
Although I expound like this, in fact, the feet and the head are indistinguishable
